Weather App

A fully functional weather app that pulls data for over 200,000 cities across the globe. Search for your city, or simply click the 'Use location' button to see the current temperature, weather description, humidity, wind speed and an hourly forecast. You can even toggle between celsius and fahrenheit, depending on which unit you prefer. Coded with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

React Dictionary App

This is my second project I built using React for my SheCodes React workshop. It uses two APIs, one for the dictionary data and another for the related images that appear when a word is searched. The colors chosen for the design are from the Dracula theme for VS Code. I wanted to create something simple and visually appealing that pays a homage to the software extension I use to keep my code looking sharp.

React Weather App

One of the projects for my SheCodes React workshop was to redo the weather app we built in the previous workshop, this time using React instead of vanilla JavaScript. Initially, I was planning to rebuild using the same design. Then I thought, why not try a completely different design? I was inspired by the Polaroid VHS covers and with a little help from my partner (who happens to be a graphic designer), this project was born.
